Maintenance Worker, Wheeling Island Casino

Delaware North Gaming is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virgina. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, West Virginia, is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, and simulcast wagering. • Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Operating equipment and snow plows

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility required
• Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug-screen

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
• Must have a valid driver's license
