Bus Driver/Maintenance Worker

The Opportunity: 

The Bus Driver/Maintenance Worker position will provide driving service to transport teams, employees and groups to games, meetings or events. Duties will also include labor assistance to the trades specialists or cleaning crew. Assisting with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscape work, or cleaning. The position's first priority is to serve as our bus driver for all University events, transporting our students, faculty, or staff safely to assigned destinations. Secondly this position will serve as a maintenance laborer for all trades and/or cleaning services. Scheduled hours will be determined by trip times and dates. The position will work 37.5 hours each week. If a trip goes over those hours, overtime will be implemented. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive bus on scheduled routes.
• Maintain bus in clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  
• Assist with labor for all trades and cleaning services. plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, landscape, and
  cleaning.

Education/ Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is required. 

• CDL Drivers License with passenger endorsement is required.
• Basic knowledge of trades is preferred.
