Job Description
Corporate Job Bank is looking for a Maintenance Worker for a local museum. This position will assist with daily maintenance and operations, repairing museum properties, as well as set up and breakdown of events. A successful candidate should have mechanical abilities and a desire to learn.
Location: Tatum & Union Hills (North Phoenix, 85050)
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr (weekly pay!)
Shift: Monday to Friday 12:00PM – 8:00PM
*Hours may vary slightly depending on the events scheduled on Saturdays
Job Duties:
· Support special events including setups and tear downs.
· Respond to work requests as required.
· Handle other miscellaneous repairs and maintenance work.
· Assist with internal personnel moves in the building.
· Perform domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance as required.
· Maintain electrical, mechanical, and maintenance shop for cleanliness.
· Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.
· Inform Facilities Manager of reorder needs.
· Perform dock receiving and mailroom duties.
· Painting.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
· Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds.
· Able to work from a ladder and reach overhead.
· Must be able to work weekends, as needed.
· Must be able to work in heat or cold and outdoors.
· 1-3 years’ experience in plumbing and electrical work is preferred.
· PC skills a plus.
· Classes in trades or facilities operations a plus.
