We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform and upkeep tasks on our 15 residential homes throughout Hennepin County. Job tasks include but are not limited to: working with power tools/equipment to complete various remodeling projects (flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, drywall, interior/exterior painting), Yard Maintenance (cutting grass/trimming, raking leaves, snow removal, gutter cleaning), removal/disposal of junk, project site clean up and various other tasks required to maintain the homes in accordance with our licensing requirements. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are functional.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be able to work in difficult weather conditions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
- A valid Driver's License is required
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
