Program: Administration
Reports to: Operations Director
Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 8-4pm
Classification: Part Time-Non Exempt
Salary Band: Support Worker
SUMMARY: Perform day-to-day maintenance functions and repair duties including light carpentry, painting and basic grounds maintenance on all agency properties including Jefferson building and Neat Repeats Resale Stores. Ensure facilities remain in good operating condition and address issues as they arise under the direction of the Operations Director.
Task:
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, buildings, and systems to identify issues and potential hazards.
- Repairs: Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting to fix problems promptly. This may include fixing plumbing issues, repairing electrical systems, or patching up walls.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement scheduled maintenance plans to prevent equipment and facility deterioration. This involves tasks like lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and checking for wear and tear.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair various types of equipment, such as HVAC systems, generators, pumps, and tools.
- Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced. This documentation helps track maintenance schedules and budgeting.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address complex problems or malfunctions in equipment or systems.
- Communication: Coordinate with other team members, supervisors, and management to report maintenance issues and request necessary resources or assistance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: H.S Diploma or equivalent, Valid Drivers License
Experience Required: 1 year experience in Facility or Operations Management
Credentialling Required:
X 40 Hour DV Training (will train)
o PAIP Certification
o Sexual Assault Certified
o ICDVP Certification
