CDL Driver & Construction Worker
Summary/Objective
Rabine America Maintenance seeks an experienced CDL Drivers and Laborers to join our team. This role requires a positive, energetic, hands-on individual who can take direction and make responsible independent decisions using strong initiative, organization, and interpersonal skills to ensure the success of the team and each project. Be ready and willing to learn skills to benefit themselves, the team, and the success of each project while working in a high energy, fast paced role.
Essential Functions
· Work efficiently under the direction of the Foreman or supervisor, utilizing the equipment and resources in an efficient and effective order, maximizing productivity in a safe and timely manner.
· Work as a team member to carry out day to day operations to ensure each job is performed and completed to standard, which may include using equipment and other construction duties as necessary.
· Assists in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices as necessary.
· Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s policies.
· Work in a safe, responsible manner. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees the same safety policies.
· Adhere to the rules, regulations and safety as determined by the DOT.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
1. Must be able to speak English (bilingual preferred).
2. Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
3. Excellent hand, eye, and foot coordination.
4. Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and tools.
Education and Experience
· Class A CDL is preferred with no automatic restrictions.
· Preferably 1+ years of CDL driving experience.
· Experience using an ELD system and knowledge of DOT regulations.
· Must be over 21 years of age (As required by law to cross state lines).
· Relative construction work experience is preferred but not required. Specifically, concrete work and asphalt work.

Work Environment
This job operates in a vehicle and will require the ability to sit and drive for long periods of time. This job will involve work on various job sites outdoors. Loud equipment and being near heavy machinery is part of the day to day. Being able to operate safely in such conditions is required.
Physical Demands
This is a physical role. Teammates may be exposed to extreme heat or coldness depending on seasonal and local conditions. Teammates must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time, also do repetitive kneeling, bending, lifting and moving objects and tools that are at least 75 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time seasonal position with overtime as required and possible on-call work when necessary.

This role requires travel.
