We are seeking a dynamic Training Program Manager who will oversee the development and delivery of Maintenance Training Programs across our poultry production facilities. You will create comprehensive technical training curriculums for our maintenance staff and technicians to ensure they have up-to-date capabilities that meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses to identify maintenance staff training needs and skills gaps.
- Design and implement maintenance skills Training Programs on equipment, processes, safety protocols, and technologies.
- Develop training curriculum, lesson plans, instruction materials, exams, hands-on activities, and multimedia visual aids.
- Remain current on poultry processing equipment and facility maintenance best practices to incorporate the latest techniques into Training Programs.
- Schedule classes, organize logistics, and secure professional instructors, as needed.
- Track training records, attendance, and completion rates and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Ensure Training Programs meet compliance requirements and safety regulations.
- Manage the training budget and report on progress to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years designing and delivering industrial Maintenance Training Programs.
- Poultry industry experience a plus.
- Experience in refrigeration, rendering, and/or waster water, preferred.
- Excellent project management, communication, collaboration and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, and influence others.
- Must be able to travel overnight, by plane, and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in a food processing type of environment, to include being able to work in restricted space areas and be able to inspect and evaluate equipment and space at low and high levels, this may include climbing ladders, stooping, bending, crouching and crawling, this may also include walking and standing for extended periods of time (with or without reasonable accommodations).
