The Maintenance Technician will support IMMI throughout the entire company, in machine maintenance repairs and improvement, while making the most efficient use of time and resources to maintain a high level of professionalism.
Essential functions
The essential functions of this position while meeting or exceeding annual goals and objectives are as follows:
- Support overall maintenance goals and objectives to reach short term and long-term benchmarks.
- Assess all maintenance assignments to effectively handle each request and suggest preventative maintenance measures where applicable.
- Communicate with the appropriate supervisors about maintenance updates or changes that affect production capacity or quality.
- Perform all general maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other repairs of industrial equipment as needed.
- Trouble shoot as needed to comply with proper IMMI and governmental standards of a quality in line with the standards of any inspections performed.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge accompanied by the appropriate training, certifications, or knowledge base preferred
- 1 to 2 years working in an industrial maintenance/machine repair role preferred
- High voltage and low/control voltage experience
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed
- Experience with electrical schematic reading and troubleshooting preferred
- Understand and work with basic automation systems including PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Acquire proper OSHA training certificate
- Ability to operate appropriate software to complete maintenance tasks
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities

- This work is deadline-oriented, requires multitasking, overtime, fluctuating work schedule, and flexibility within the workday. Must be able to maintain 24-hour availability (within reason) via cell on your scheduled week for support
