Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our equipment and facilities. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Essential Functions:

·Implement routine equipment & facility maintenance procedures

·Assist in goals, objectives, and systems for equipment and facility purposes

·Evaluate areas & recommend solutions for continuous process improvements

·Enforce company policy and procedures as required

·Conduct training and presentation for health and safety matters and accident prevention

·Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA and DOT

·Perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic/air systems trouble shooting and repair

·Initiate and coordinate all contracted work

·Coordinate and implement any special projects as directed

·Promote a safe workplace environment

·Be available to provide assistance to operations when required

·Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors
-Have a basic understanding of MSDS & OSHA safety requirements

- Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred but not required
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Have a minimum of 3 years of supervision and/or production management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
