UFG is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician whose primary focus will be to assist in providing a safe and healthy work environment for all UFG offices and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
- Conduct maintenance of electrical systems
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
- Complete Preventative Maintenance and daily Service Requests as assigned
- Inspect alarm systems and quickly schedule repairs when needed
- Assist in snow removal and landscaping
- Escort and assist with all required inspections and testing
- Complete all required training and testing
- Assist with moves and reconfiguring of office furniture
- Rotating on call schedule
- Limited off-hour duties (Weekends, nights, holidays)
Qualifications:
Education:
- HS Diploma. Technical training a plus.
Experience:
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems..
- Basic knowledge of Building Automation Systems (Lutron, Niagara).
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including fork lift and small hand tools.
