Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician ensures optimal operation of plant facilities and machinery by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling work, and managing spare parts inventory in order to complete projects as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment including air compressors, pumps, water treatment systems, machine tools, and mixing systems.
- Perform general facilities repairs from work requests.
- Maintain appropriate preventative maintenance schedule in alignment with production schedule.
- Ability to work around production needs to prevent down-time.
- Schedule maintenance tasks in alignment with production schedule.
- Manage spare parts inventory and create and manage parts and services purchase requisitions to support maintenance activities.
- Be thoroughly familiar with plant lockout/tag-out procedures, electrical safety, hazard communication program, personal protective equipment and other safety programs and apply these procedures when on equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- 2 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating industrial automation and process machinery.
- Certified and/or experience in one or more of the following:
○ Electrical
○ Plumbing
○ Mechanical
○ Fabrication
○ Millwright
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of key components, spare parts, and maintenance intervals for electromechanical systems.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
