Compensation: $37.00- $40.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all "common areas" within the Association as described below. Continuous hands-on training will always be provided.
Physical Duties:
- Patch and paint the common areas of the building.
- Wallpaper repair in the common areas of the building.
- Responsible for general cleaning of the engineering spaces.
- Clean and paint non-operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut down, locked out, and tagged by Supervisor.
- Provide light electrical duties: Changing light bulbs.
- Willingness to learn to become a full-time Building Engineer
Emergency Response:
- Maintain preparedness for an emergency response to flood, fire, power outage, earthquake, and other disasters.
- Respond to project emergencies.
Teamwork Customer Service:
- Be a team player and contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive, and safe work environment.
- Be prepared to assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description.
- Maintain customer service standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager.
- Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism at all times.
- Be available for overtime in special circumstances in order to complete projects or meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment 7-year criminal history report and drug screening
- Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiar with MS Office applications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 year of Maintenance Technician experience. High Rise Property Management or Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 year of Painting and Patching
- High Rise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC experience desired
- Fire Life Safety Certification is a plus
- EPA/608 Universal License preferred
- HVAC Certification preferred
