- Follow all company and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations.
- Perform safety and environmental inspections, as the need arises.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform assigned PM and PdM tasks.
- Utilization of predictive maintenance tools (ultrasonic, vibration analysis, laser alignment).
- Proactively look for equipment trends, root causes and variances. Develop action plans for and implement improvements.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment.
- Quickly respond to and correct equipment mechanical and electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective/worn equipment parts, control devices, motors, belts, etc.
- Knowledge, and identification of gearboxes, motors, pulleys, gears
- Proficient knowledge and identification of belts, bearings, seals, etc.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
- Perform painting, carpentry, sheetrock and flooring repairs.
- Perform meeting room set-up and teardown (A/V equipment operation, maintenance, repair).
- Perform facility lighting change-outs (interior, exterior).
- In-depth knowledge of boilers and steam-related components.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental control room systems/operation/control.
- In-depth knowledge of dust extraction systems (PMs, repairs).
- Perform lab equipment installation, PMs, calibration, and repairs.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of PLC and related controls.
- High proficiency at performing equipment changeovers.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency with variable frequency drives (VFD).
- Operate machine shop equipment, lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.
- Proficient in use of welding equipment – gas/MIG/TIG.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment.
- Positive demeanor, willingness, and desire to learn.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- 4-8 years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics, and/or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics
- HVAC training /experience/ education
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or other regulatory experience
- Food manufacturing or packaging experience, and/or blending equipment, batching operation systems
