Are you an experienced Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Are you passionate about leading a team and driving productivity? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines and delivering high-quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader, with a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and HACCP principles.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising the daily operations of the manufacturing line, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are upheld.
2. Leading, coaching, and developing a team of production workers to achieve their full potential.
3. Implementing and maintaining HACCP principles to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
4. Collaborating closely with the Quality Control team to resolve any product or process issues.
5. Continuously improving production processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
6. Ensuring compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
7. Reporting on production metrics, identifying any areas of concern, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Supervisor position will have the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a production setting.
3. Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in a manufacturing setting.
4. Previous experience as a production lead or supervisor, with a proven track record of driving productivity and maintaining high quality standards.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Solid understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proficient in using production-related software and technology.
11. A degree in a related field would be considered an asset, but is not essential.
