Position:Maintenance Technician
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7Am-7 Pm
Salary: $24.61-30.00/ Depends on skill / qualificatiion
Experience Requirements: Two years of experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Training Required: Proven knowledge and ability in mechanical and electrical repair, plus at least two of the following: basic electronic repair, basic welding, basic hydraulic repair, basic pneumatic repair. Commitment to continue training and education to improve maintenance skills. On-the-job training.
Basic Abilities: Good mechanical and electrical ability. Must be able to make necessary repairs on plant equipment. Good eye and hand coordination. Must write legible. Squat and lift fifty pounds. Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
Job Brief: Maintenance's job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Working with minimum supervision.
- Working from written and oral instructions.
- Working at the direction of the Maintenance Lead; night shifts subject to reassignment by on-duty Production Supervisor for repairs to equipment.
- Maintaining correct procedures and following specified guidelines.
- Generating necessary documentation.
- Repairs, modifies, retrofits, replaces plant equipment as well as other related duties.
- Ensuring quality and quantity of work performed.
- Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Reporting all quality problems and all deficiencies in equipment to the Maintenance Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Plant Manager.
- Following instructions and performing all duties as directed by any Supervisor or any Management Representative of the company.
