Job Description

A property management company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for an apartment community located in Atlanta. We are searching for a Maintenance Technician who will provide prompt, professional, and courteous service for all resident service requests and assist the Property Manager in maintaining all physical aspects of the community.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA certification for HVAC service calls
• Minimum of 3 years in the apartment maintenance field
• Strong punch tech skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to display balance/equilibrium at heights above 5 feet and lift 50 pounds essential
• Must be able to walk the property, including stairs, on a regular and as-needed basis in order to perform duties and perform a variety of physical tasks
• Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Working knowledge of general property operations, HVAC, safety, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair essential
• Must be available for On-call Emergency Maintenance
• Any additional duties as assigned
• Must have your own tools
• Must possess a teamwork attitude
