Job Description:Mars Wrigley - Gainesville, GATitle: Maintenance TechnicianPay: Based on experience~ $1,500 Sign On Bonus ~What do we Manufacture?Your favorite GUM brands including Orbit, 5 Gum, Eclipse, Extra, ect.*Additional Compensation and Total Rewards Information BelowRequired Shift:12 Hour Night Shift 5pm/6pm - 5:30am/6:30amThis schedule repeats every two weeks.Week 1: On Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Off Wednesday & Thursday)Week 2: On Wednesday & Thursday (Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)Job Purpose: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and performing mechanical repairs on all assigned equipment, including basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level (e.g., packaging, conveying, processing or facilities equipment, etc). What are we looking for?Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environmentBasic Computer skills required (e.g., Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.Required to participate in a stringent onboarding and training program within the first 7 weeks of employment (no vacation time will be approved during this time)Physical Requirements:Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, handling and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Ability to read, write and speak English.Preferred Qualifications:Associate or Technical Degree4+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environmentPossess a fundamental understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical schematics/drawings.Understand TPM Theory and ConceptsWhat will be your key responsibilities?Troubleshoot and repair equipment, failed components, and centerline adjustments.Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and support operations with equipment set up and changeover.Document Work Orders (WOs) and PMs using computerized maintenance management system (SAP) for Plant maintenance functions. Some fabrication and/or machinist work; trained as required.Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Teams, train operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AMs) activities and participate in Breakdown Analysis/Elimination efforts.Adheres to Maintenance and Repair costs while follow Maintenance Planning & SchedulingAssists Operations with Anomaly HandlingCompensation:$1,500K sign on bonusCompetitive pay based on experience.Shift differential OT potential Annual bonus pay outAnnual merit increasesTotal Rewards:Medical, Vision & Dental- Starts day one!Up to 6% 401K matchVacation time Tuition reimbursementShort/Long Term disability18 weeks parental leave What will be the Interview Process?
