2nd Shift, $24 to $30 (Based on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop equipment.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes and hand and power tools, examining form and texture parts.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques, monitoring compliance.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. Place and expedite orders, verifying receipt.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform general machine maintenance.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 Years of Maintenance Experience
- Must communicate well, written and verbally.
- Must be steady, reliable worker and able to work effectively with others.
- Participate in trouble shooting and problem resolution.
- Must be proficient in math and measurements.
- Must have worked as a maintenance tech previously in a Manufacturing or Industrial setting.
