- Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment, buildings and grounds.
- Responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance on all production equipment according to maintenance plans and as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform emergency repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in evaluating and troubleshooting all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and equipment.
- Daily report to the Maintenance Supervisor about spare parts used so that the Maintenance Supervisor can update the inventory.
- Assist in test running injection molding and decoration machines as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Responsible for returning the production area to its orderly condition after every repair.
- Provide information to the Maintenance Supervisor to help identify and develop equipment improvements.
- Effectively communicate will all shift and plant personnel.
- Be familiar with and follow all ISO and SQF Procedures/Instructions related to your work.
- Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks in compliance with all ISO and SQF Quality System requirements.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor to promote overall plant effectiveness.
- Previous machine maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of ISO and SQF
- Working knowledge of CSBs i.e. LOTO ect
- Medium work: up to 50 lbs of force occassionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly to move objects
- Repetitive motion
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing.
