POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. They work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner and resident.
General Duties:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible to performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property.
- Work with the maintenance team and management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner.
- Perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
- Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
- Pool maintenance and testing may be applicable.
- Make units ready for new move-ins.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to advance within the field (continuing education and certification opportunities available)
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers, and management
- Two years working experience in facility maintenance
- Inside and outside in all weather conditions
- Regular, on-time attendance.
- Valid and Current Driver's License and Proof of insurance
Preferred Training:
- CPO - Certified Pool Operator (Preferred)
- Boiler license (Preferred)

Schedule: 8-hour shift – Monday through Friday, On Call Rotation every 6 weeks.
