Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-4 years of experience performing Maintenance duties, preferably in Manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Provide technical interface to Product Development for smooth, efficient transfer of products and processes.

• Machine repair to including electrical repair, trouble shooting, circuit boards, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, Material delivery system, compressors, and chillers, as well as work on silos 50 plus feet high.

• Record operational data such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventative maintenance records.

• Comply with all pertinent OSHA standards.

• Follow and understand acceptable quality control systems associated with parts and tooling.

• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and records for all manufacturing equipment.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing team for all manufacturing processes, as well as all facility support.

• Ability to read parts breakdown and machine electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Participate in production system and quality system efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement.

• Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment as well as alterations on existing equipment and facilities -- making sure that manufacturing, maintainability, Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are being met.

• Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime of machines.

• Keep up-to-date documentation related to maintenance.
