Job Title:Maintenance Technician
Location: Greenville, NC
This role will be responsible for electrical and mechanical work related to the installation or repair of equipment and control systems used in our plant operation. You will join the 1st shift maintenance team and perform repairs as specified by work orders as well as perform preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the reliability and safety of our manufacturing equipment.
Daily Functions:
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs a variety of industrial electrical equipment including automatically controlled machinery, transformers, circuit breakers, AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives, sensors, PLCs, robotics, monitoring instrumentation and other electrical / electronic systems.
- Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
- Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to manager/supervisor.
- Works with blueprints, drawings, layout, or written or verbal instructions.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read, comprehend and, where necessary, complete items including a blueprint, an electrical schematic, operating and maintenance manuals, a work order, repair parts request, standard and metric tape measure, and other measuring equipment including a micrometer, a caliper, a scale, and a VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter).
- Minimum of 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
