Fix MULTIfamily is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to ensure our portfolio meets the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The person we are looking for is experienced in a variety of home trades, passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems with a mindset of getting it done correctly the first time. We do not have a physical centrally located office building to report to and the properties we manage are located throughout the Phoenix Metro area. This position will start as part-time that can transition to full-time for the right person.

Job Description
- Perform handyman, general home repair, maintenance work plus the following special tasks when needed:
- General carpentry - rough and finish
- Interior and exterior painting
- Flooring/tile repair and installation
- Drywall repair/patching /caulking
- Plumbing repair
- Minor electrical repair
- HVAC repair and installation (Gas & Electric)
- Bathroom repair and remodeling
- Fixture replacement and installation
- Other remodeling work
- Proactively look and report to the Property Manager of any concerns that could present a bigger problem for the property owner or Tenants in the future.
- Visit all properties at least once a month and report to the Property Manager of any current or foreseeable items needing addressed.
- Perform all work to the highest of quality.
- Can maintain a professional attitude with tenants, owners, vendors and colleagues.
- Adhere to dress code as established by management
- Perform move in and move out inspections when needed
Qualifications
- Ability and skills to perform maintenance in any or all of these areas: electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, drywall, cleaning, change locks, carpet repair & replacement and roofing
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hour emergencies
- Minimum 3-years experience (Preferred) working as a Maintenance Technician or similar role on single family or multi family properties
- Represent company in a professional manner at all times, on or off the property
- Provide a high-level of customer service at all times
- Be technology savvy and able to learn new tools quickly and incorporate it into their role
- Must have a smartphone to utilize company used applications.
- Have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Must have own hand tools and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids and measuring devices
- Must speak English
- Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment
