Role Info
As a multi-craft Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift), you will support both product and facility needs and ensure a safe work environment for associates. Monday- Friday, 2:00pm- 10:30pm, OT later in evenings, occasional Saturdays (if necessary)
Starting pay at $29.36/hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 12 months).
We are a drug-free facility and require all employees to pass a drug screening and background check.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Coordinate tasks for the timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Perform and assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- SAP Data Entry including corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, project work orders, and safety work orders. Details of actions and parts used must be entered in SAP.
- Requisition parts/supplies needed to implement plant repair projects and keep supply of spare parts in supervisor’s absence.
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor to develop maintenance work priorities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintain and approve employee time sheet reports and production reports in supervisor’s absence.
- Work with outside vendors as required to accomplish tasks.
- Confer with other leaders to coordinate activities of individual departments
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.
- Instruct and train new and transferred employees into the maintenance department on duties, methods, order, and frequency of assigned work.
What You Will Bring
- 5 years Multicraft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently or with others, work from both written schedules and instructions and exercise judgments
