SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the Maintenance Staff towards achieving organizational goals by providing leadership, positive communication, and setting an example. They will assign work orders, ensure completion of work orders, carry out preventative maintenance tasks, and ensure company rules are followed. The ideal candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics and have welding experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

• Provide leadership to Maintenance Personnel
• Use a computer-based maintenance management system.
• Assign Work Orders to Maintenance Staff
• Ensures the completion of all work orders
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance tasks are carried out
• Ensure company rules are followed
• Issues warning notices to employees for violating rules
• Utilize safe work methods; adhere to safety regulation; various codes, ordinances and regulations
• Use a computer-based maintenance management system
• Promotes a safe work environment
• Coordinate necessary repair work with Operations & Engineering
• Maintain records and track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of equipment and more through a computerized system
• Supervise maintenance staff and assist with conduct performance reviews of workers and technicians
• Communicates daily expectations to maintenance staff
• Review maintenance staff work

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication, instructional, and leadership skills
• Ability to proficiently operate a computer
• High-level attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction
• Pneumatic, Electric, & Hydraulic Systems Knowledge
• Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role
• Read, interpret & understand Blueprints, Technical Schematics, & Controls Diagrams
• Welding experience preferred
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge
• Prefer experience operating Forklift & Boom Lift
