As we expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a New Lease-up community in Cary, NC.
We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations at our New Lease-up community. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multifamily maintenance and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver exceptional service. Requirements:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and quality completion of work orders, turnovers, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including vendor contracts and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and ensure proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergencies and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of the property's budget, and monitor expenses to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide training and development opportunities for maintenance team members.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
