We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisorto join our team. Ths position will be a mobile mainenance position (company van provided) and will cover campuses toward the Inland Empire and South CA including West Covina, Montclair, Ontario, Riverside, Oceanside, San Diego and Chula Vista.
The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and perform a variety of skilled maintenance, alteration, installations, and/or equipment repair work involved in the maintenance and repair of assigned campuses’, and related equipment to include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical repair skills.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs and provides oversight of general maintenance work in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of our campuses
- Cleans, sands, seals, and otherwise prepares interior and exterior walls and surface for painting
- Assists in furniture/office space planning and relocations, and delivery of office related furniture, equipment and supplies at the campuses or corporate office
- Supervises and or conducts the Installations, repairs, and adjustments to plumbing fixtures and equipment including pipes, washers, gaskets, and faucets by contractors and maintenance staff
- Maintains maintenance records of work completed and orders necessary supply orders
- Utilizes and insures proper safety precautions related to all work performed
- Performs related duties as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
- The required knowledge and abilities will have been acquired during at least five years’ experience in general maintenance and repair work.
- Ability to supervise various trades vendors
- Read, write, and speak English sufficiently to successfully perform required duties
- Safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used for building maintenance purposes
- Understand and follow both oral and written directions
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel toward the Inland Empire and South CA areas.
