AAMCI is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a 165-unit Multi family community in Lancaster SC.
Full-time $28 - $31 per hour depending on experience. Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 PM. On call premium.
The community is an affordable housing community with Project based Section 8, Home and Tax Credit rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.
This position participates in on-call emergency rotation for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out.
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical problems
- Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
- Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Complete work orders
- Painting
- Turn units
- Order parts as necessary
- Recording type and cost of repair work
Qualifications necessary for success:
- HVAC Certified
- Handyman
- Apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to adhere to work safety program
- Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
