National Cement is a cement manufacturing mill located on an approximately 100-acre site. The Maintenance Supervisor will perform a variety of tasks including plant maintenance, supervising 6-7 workers, solving complex maintenance issues, delegating tasks, reviewing, and completing reports and a variety of other related tasks.
Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure efficient operations - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules - Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with logic controllers and electrical systems - Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff - Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations - Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Requirements: - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team - Extensive mechanical knowledge, including experience with HVAC systems - Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills - Project management experience, including planning and execution of maintenance projects - Knowledge of high voltage systems and electrical safety procedures - Ability to fabricate or repair equipment as needed - Experience in industrial maintenance preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
