Direct hire opening with our client for a Maintenance Scheduler.
As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our maintenance operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and scheduling preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks for manufacturing and heavy industrial equipment.
- Maintain inventory for spare parts
- Update and maintain CMMS documentation
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of scheduled work.
- Optimizing maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
- Developing and implementing maintenance planning strategies to improve overall equipment reliability.
- Evaluating and adjusting schedules based on changing operational needs and priorities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Serves as a technical resource for maintenance supervisors
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment maintenance with a strong background in planning and scheduling.
- Proven expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
