Job Description
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and the effective execution of the plant's CMMS system (MP2 Professional). The Planner will be responsible for ensuring the optimum use of maintenance resources by prioritizing and carefully planning work that can be achieved under specific planned conditions. This professional will help create and manage service contracts and be a point person for outside services. The Planner will report to the Maintenance Manager and prepare business related analyses and recommendations. The Planner will create and maintain a department dashboard to drive strategic improvement goals.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate all processes related to the CMMS work order system to achieve world class standards.
- Lead/support reliability improvement initiatives.
- Help improve technician wrench time productivity with work order parts "kitting".
- Collaborate with MRO to maintain 100% inventory accuracy of all maintenance related parts and supplies.
- Maintain and ensure ISO compliance for the maintenance group for documentation and records.
- Act as the site CMMS database administrator, working closely with BUMs, Process team, and the Maintenance Manager to ensure MP2 work order compliance throughout the plant.
- Develop and write scopes of work and establish contracts for outside services related to equipment and facilities maintenance support.
- Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of all PIT equipment.
- Establish and/or optimize all planned maintenance for new and existing assets.
- Ensure data integrity of closed work orders and provide data on downtime trends.
- Be a subject matter authority on OEM documentation, sourcing of parts, and support critical breakdowns with sourcing of parts when needed.
- Partner with the MRO team to support the sourcing efforts for emergency parts, repairs, and other critical services when needed.
- Support 5-S, ELS projects, and recycling programs.
- Support maintenance compliance to all EHS requirements.
- Ability to cover maintenance leadership roles and responsibilities (on occasion).
