At Vox, the Maintenance Mechanic is a key position that will oversee the performance and maintenance of manufacturing production machinery critical to our business.
Like troubleshooting and solving problems? This position will allow you to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment? You’ll be repairing manufacturing equipment and production lines quickly and efficiently. We hate downtime.
Show us what you can do:
· Experience with production machinery such as encapsulation equipment, high speed bottling and labeling lines, along with general building maintenance skills is a must.
· Ability to install, assemble and test new machines and equipment preferred.
· Can you build relationships with department supervisors and managers? If so, this is for you. We want to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
· You’ll be working with our production operators and assisting them with adjusting and maintaining machinery to achieve daily production goals for the whole operation.
The skills you should have to work in our fast-paced and hard-working environment include:
- Mechanical skills –You should be comfortable using hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance tasks on a variety of industrial machines
- Troubleshooting –You must have excellent troubleshooting skills, and should be able to follow steps to isolate and address mechanical and electrical issues
- Physical stamina and dexterity –You must be able to maneuver around large pieces of machinery and have the physical stamina needed to spend long shifts on your feet
- Problem-solving skills – These skills are central in this role to devise solutions to keep machinery working safely without impacting efficiency. You should not be afraid to learn new things.
- Communication skills - Solid written and verbal communication a must.
Education and Experience:
· HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
· 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
