SalaryJob Title: Maintenance Encapsulation Mechanic

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
General Description: Performs setups, repairs, timing, and preventative maintenance on encapsulation machines and related equipment. Is familiar with working with sensors, contactors, motors, pumps, and cam driven equipment. Is able to assist in the repairs of equipment in other areas of the facility. Coordinates with various departments for preventive maintenance, and break down maintenance of equipment. Helps to maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumable parts. Monitors facilities and manufacturing operating equipment. Executes equipment installation and operational protocol. Documents all work performed in a computerized maintenance management system. Learn and follow all company guidelines and policies and ensure all documentation is filled out correctly and completely. Be able to troubleshoot and identify ways to improve and ensure production of Department and quality standards are met on a daily basis.
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
- Proficient in the operation and repair of Encapsulation Machines
- Familiarity of the Syntegon 3005 encapsulator is a plus
- Familiar with the repair of other types of manufacturing equipment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Good communication skills

Experience:
- 3-5 years maintenance experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
