Summary/Objective
Small Engine Mechanic and Facilities Maintenance
The Maintenance Manager position manages the repair and maintenance of all go-karts and certain attractions at all facilities.

Daily responsibilities are:
- Scheduling and managing all Maintenance Technicians
- Communicates repair issues/concerns/needs of co. vehicles to DAM for suggested repairs
- Oversees the repair and maintenance of all go-karts, kids rides and bumper boats
- Ensures double checks are done and signed off
- Orders parts and equipment as needed
- Keeps daily, weekly and annual records
- Reviews hourly wages to recommend pay increases
- Helps approves timecards when needed
- Uses correct procedure to code and turn in receipts
- Minor repairs and maintenance as needed
- Ensures that supplies that are needed are on hand
- Follows safety procedures and ensures that crew members that report to him/her are following correct safety procedures
- Reviews of processes and procedures to constantly look for ways to improve and be more efficient.
- Read and follow written instructions of manufacturer manuals
- Follow OSHA standards
- Keep attractions maintained using manufacturer’s guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all crew members of the department and is responsible for leadership, performance management and retention of crew members within department. Must supervise in a productive and positive manner. Must maintain a positive relationship with operations team.
Work Environment
This job operates in an outside work environment as well as inside. This role routinely requires work during hot and cold temperatures at times. Must be able to read and write and communicate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; use hands to handle, and/or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Could lift at times up to 50lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are determined by the VP of Operations. Evenings, weekends and some holidays are required as job duties demand.
