SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair and documentation associated with production equipment and facilities. Responsibilities will extend to other facilities as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain, install, service and repair Manufacturing Assembly Equipment and assist in other production and facility support functions
- Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair and documentation associated with production equipment and facilities
- Responsibilities will extend to other facilities as needed
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, outside equipment vendors, management and peers
- Track equipment parameters/problems and assist in capital expenditure justifications using maintenance related software packages
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in areas of HVAC (heating, ventilation & Air Conditioning)
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions in relation to analysis, diagnosis, and repair of equipment problems
- Machine shop experience including knowledge of safe operation of vertical mill, lathe, drill press and band saw
- Welding experience
- Basic computer skills
