Mail Clerk

SOFT's client located in East Rutherford, NJ is looking for a Mail Clerk for a long term contract assignment.

Qualifications:
previous office experience. Attention to detail and ability to follow through on assignments given.

• Adherence to custody control standards and all client rules and regulations
• Deliver mail incoming and outgoing to all client New Jersey area around the bank
• Ability to enter data into our Beartrack Mail Tracking System
• Ability to work independently
• Must live in NJ or close to East Rutherford NJ
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs boxes or push 60lbs carts
• Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand instructions, information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Speech Recognition - The ability to identify and understand communication from co-workers and supervisory staff.
• Problem Solving - The ability to inform co-workers and supervisory staff when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.

Responsibilities:
General office responsibilities including filing, assisting with mailings, document tracking, invoice review.

• Accepts and processes express and courier mail through the “Beartrack” Mail Tracking System for internal distribution to its intended recipients.
• Delivers and distributes processed internal ordinary, registered and certified mail to its intended recipients.
• Receives and checks contents of incoming mail and signs manifests, examines for conformity to postal regulations such as proper postage and logs items received on delivery sheets for pick up by

authorized personnel upon signature.

• Send and Receive daily correspondents, inter office boxes and packages from client Bank courier .

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
