We are currently looking for a full-time onsite Mail Clerk in our McKinney office, with experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry. This role can also be filled by someone with a four-year degree and the desire to enter the healthcare field in an entry-level role.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up mail from post office boxes at the post office
• Drop off bank deposits
• Open incoming mail
• Scan and file incoming payments and correspondence
• Download EOBs & denials from Waystar
• Prepare outgoing mail for claims, A/R, and accounting
• Print and mail statements for patients at month end
• Document all outgoing mail on the mail log
• Other tasks/special projects as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Regular work in an office setting

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and flexibility required
• Ability to spell and use professional and appropriate grammar in written communication
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Successfully pass a background check
• Strong attention to detail and organization required
• The ability to work with little or no supervision
