San Francisco Bay Area non-profit has an immediate opening for a Grants Analyst! As a Grants Analyst with this organization, you'll play a crucial role by managing grant reporting processes for government, foundation, and private grants. This ideal candidate will be local the SF Bay Area and able to work on-site in Santa Clara, CA on a hybrid basis (three days per week); 100% remote schedules will be considered for the right candidate. Responsibilities:
- Oversee grant reporting activities for a diverse portfolio of government, foundation, and private grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with program managers and finance staff to gather relevant data and prepare accurate and comprehensive grant reports.
- Utilize Salesforce as the primary CLM tool to track grant-related data, milestones, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular review and analysis of grant reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for grant-related inquiries and requests from funders, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support grant proposal development and submission processes as needed, providing guidance on reporting requirements and budget considerations.
- Stay informed about best practices in grant management and reporting, and proactively recommend process enhancements and system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant reporting or similar role within a non-profit organization.
- Proficiently manipulate grant reporting data using Excel functions and techniques.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to effectively communicate grant performance metrics.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for grant management and reporting.
- Prior government grant reporting experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.
