What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator- Tapping in Montpelier, you will set ups, training, troubleshooting, quality, paper work and notifying supervisor of any operational problems . You'll get to:

• Set up and troubleshoot tapping machines and quality issues
• Execute tapping department processes and procedures
• Provide management with supporting documents and data as required
• Notify supervisor to purchase tooling, taps, and machine repair parts as required
• Schedule parts for tappers and operators according to production schedule
• Operate PIV
• Clean out oil and parts from inside machines
• Understand inventory system and tool re ordering

• Follows appropriate housekeeping procedures according to company guidelines
• Walking, standing moving and lifting of 50+ pounds for duration of shift
• Use of hands, arms and fingers regularly, pushing and pulling
