Cadence Inc., located in Staunton, Virginia is currently hiring for a Operator III in our Dexcom Cell on 3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday 11 PM- 7 AM). In this role, you will focus on some very specific Cadence products through the use of CNC (computer-numeric-control) manufacturing machinery. Additionally, this position will be heavily involved in gathering data, training, and inspection. Cadence, VA manufactures medical and industrial blades.

Must Have Skills for this position:
- CNC machining experience is required
- Clean Room experience is heavily desired
- Strong computer skills
- Measuring experience (calipers, micrometers, vision systems)
- Basic math skills
- Blueprint reading experience is required
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Positive/Can-Do attitude
- Team-oriented
- Ability to take ownership of the role and make decisions without close supervision (a self-starter is a must)
Nice to Have Skills for this position:
- CNC machining experience or higher-level CNC operation
- Proven history of high-level measuring experience
- Geometric Dimension and Tolerance experience
- CAD
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Working knowledge/understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code).
- Knowledge in metal cutting tools and understanding of speed/feed rates.
Mechanical Aptitude
- Can troubleshoot set-up and machine-related issues and perform PM/Machine Referencing.
Quality
- May assist with documenting/developing standards.
Cultural/Communication/Leadership
- Serve as a technical expert to the engineering staff, production planning staff, and others on team.
- Will serve in the role of a Trainer.
