Machine Operator Grinder

Diligent Staffing Inc is seeking a Grinding Machine operator in Cerritos, CA.

Pay May Vary from $20-23

Position is: Full time, Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30am. On some Fridays, overtime is available.

Temporary Assoicate to Hire!! Company will hire you directly after 90 days.

Please see the below description:

• Complex GD&T OD, ID, and free length measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gage, bore gauges.
• Advanced blueprint reading
• Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following
  • Communications - Exhibits good listening and comprehension.
  • Keeps technical skills up to date.
• Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Comprehend simple manufacturing instructions!
  • Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to solve production challenges.
• Computer Skills: Basic
• Must be comfortable working in a Manufacturing facility.
• Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Must be capable to lift up to 40 Lbs.
  • Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• MUST have at least 1 year experience as a Machine Operator or Machine Grinder
