Machine Operator

Maxum Staffing is on the lookout for dedicated Machine Operators to join our dynamic team, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality food packaging products. We're offering positions across all shifts to accommodate varying schedules: 1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3rd Shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. With a starting pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, we also provide a shift differential of $1.25 for 2nd and 3rd shifts, highlighting our commitment to rewarding our team for their flexibility and hard work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhering to plant safety procedures, including knowledge of emergency responses to power outages, machine failures, and workplace incidents.
• Utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated.
• Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Immediate reporting of safety concerns and workplace injuries to supervisors.
• Active engagement in safety improvement initiatives, such as Hazard Identification and Safety Suggestions.
• Operation of machinery, including starting and stopping in response to conditions or malfunctions.
• Monitoring machine feed and speed during the production process to ensure efficiency.
• Participation in unskilled production tasks like machine feeding and product packing.
• Quality assurance of products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintenance of a clean and orderly workspace.
• Documentation of product, packaging, and order information as per guidelines.
• Assistance with additional tasks or to other team members as needed.
• Compliance with plant quality practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety initiatives.
