Skills and Qualities:
- At least 1 year of prior food Machine Operator experience or 1 year of Machine Operator experience.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Basic math skills, communication skills, computer skills, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate in English and work in a fast paced environment.
- Must have mechanical skills to troubleshoot and or make adjustments as necessary to ensure a quality product.
- The ability to stand on a concrete floor for long period of time. Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Associate must work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes completing deadlines.
- Good attendance is a condition of employment
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and tearing down the production line equipment.
- Operate machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, basic quality control, and waste control.
- Responsible for keeping the production line supplied with raw materials at all times.
- Responsible for the operation of a manual and/or power hand jack.
- Able to complete production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
