Duties:
- Program, Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality control
- Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain proper tooling inventory and perform routine maintenance on machines
- Collaborate with team members to weld, assemble, and fabricate parts as needed
- Handle materials in the warehouse and ensure proper storage and organization
Skills:
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and using related software (e.g., MasterCam)
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure precision in manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in machining operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience in welding, assembling, and fabricating parts is a plus
