Machine Operator 1St Shift - $22.00 Hr

As an Operator Assistant, your main responsibility is to safely inspect material for defects, operate equipment including banding equipment to assist in packaging materials and prepare for shipment to our customers. In this role, you will have exposure to our finished goods and learn more about our customers and end product.

How you’ll contribute to our company:

1. Assist operators in the set-up of the machine.
2. Maintain production standards.
3. Communicate non-compliance material or problems to Machine Operator.
4. Record data and use tape measures and micrometers to measure and check the dimensions of steel.
5. Safely handle material without damage
6. Assist in packaging material to meet customer specifications per customer supplied information and standard packaging instructions.
7. Clean machine area or any other assigned area
