Machine Learning Ops Engineer

MetaMetrics Inc. seeks a Machine Learning (ML) OPs engineer to join our AI and Product Innovation department. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious applied scientist capable of building AWS-native event-driven architecture, writing production-quality code, and maintaining high standards for code development. The ML OPs engineer will play a key role in supporting senior engineers and ML Ops to develop architecture that empowers MetaMetrics’ digital assessment and instructional

contents.

Essential Functions:

• Develop model training, inference and deployment pipeline, and model registry
• Participate in the development of new APIs that handle automated scoring of writing and speaking.
• Write unit and integration tests for your code.
• Follow best practices for agile software development, documenting and fixing bugs, updating documentation, and addressing backlog items.

Requirements:

• Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in a MLOPs engineer or ML engineer role
• Experience with developing for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Docker
• Familiarity with AWS Lambdas, ECS, SQS, S3, Sagemaker, and spaCy.
• Extensive software development experience in Python
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Comfortable working in a Git and agile/scrum environment.
• Experience with NLP algorithms is a plus.
