Machine Assembly Technician

Sector Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the industrial machinery sector, is seeking a skilled Machine Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and have a passion for assembling high-quality industrial equipment. The primary focus will be on the assembly of fabricated parts for industrial plasma cutting machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly and Installation: Accurately assemble fabricated parts and components of industrial plasma cutting machines. This includes following detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize various common power tools effectively in the assembly process. This includes the ability to drill, tap, and use a tape measure accurately.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Material Handling: Safely handle materials and components, with the ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing production needs, schedules, and environments.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the assembly team and other departments to ensure efficient and timely production goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven mechanical skills and inclination.
• Experience in using power tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plus.
