Machine Assembler - Lapeer
Our client in Lapeer is looking for a Machine Builder who is responsible for assembling fixtures and machines. This position is full-time and is eligible for direct hire after 90 days. $23/hr. + based on experience.
Position Overview

• Layout panel to provided prints
• Assemble fixtures to customer specifications
• Drill and/or cutout holes to provided prints
• Place cable in tray neatly and organized
• Drill holes and mount electrical hardware to engineer specification
• Bundle wires and cables in orderly and neat manner
• Work with team members on successful projects
• Follow project standards
• Completes all other duties assigned
• Some travel may be required for customer facility startup and support

 Requirements

• 3 years + of machine building experience
• Must be willing to travel for customer facility startup and support
• Good attendance
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team setting and supervisor others
• Good problem solving skills with the ability to follow written and verbal direction
