Form of workHarris Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Intern to join our M& A team. You will work within the M& A team and Senior Management in continuing the companys success in M& A activity. This position will report to the Director of M& A of our Healthcare portfolio.
What your impact will be:
- Assist with detailed bottom-up, multi-scenario financial modelling
- Assist the M&A team with the due diligence process including financial analysis, risk assessment, market analysis and customer reviews
- Assist with preparing business summaries, investment memos, commentary and responding to detailed Q&A from our internal stakeholders
- Assist in post-acquisition integration activity with both operations and finance teams
- Assist with financial analytical support to the senior management team
- Perform special projects & ad hoc reporting as required
What we are looking for:
- Candidates should be currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in business or finance, or a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) or CFA
- Demonstrable experience in Business Development with an aptitude for sales, lead generation and mining of new business opportunities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment
- Initiative to work autonomously
