Day Shift:  Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

About the Company:

Express Employment Professionals in Hillsboro, OR has teamed up with a local truss manufacturing company. We are seeking applicants to work on with their production team assembling and manufacturing trusses for both residential and commercial structures. A successful candidate would have 1+ years general labor or shop helper experience, ability to lift up to 50-pounds and knowledge using hand tools, saws, measuring tape, etc.

Job Description:

• Manufacture a variety of lumber products for structural framing and industrial applications
• Assemble and manufacture of joists for both residential and commercial structures 
• Operate machinery [hand tools, saws, tape measures, etc.]
• Use basic math skills to measure and cut wood joists
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times

 Requirements: 

• 1+ years general labor or shop helper experience
• Construction background preferred
• Ability to preform basic math functions including: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division 
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge using hand tools, saws, measuring tape, etc
• High attention to detail
• Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
